Ahhhh good times. These are a few pictures from when I was in LA last winter on the rooftop of the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa on Highland Ave in Hollywood. I treated myself to an early birthday present at Spa Luce and while I was waiting for my turn I lounged about poolside. I fully recommend the Japan Ritual-and like most good things in life it was a much too short 80 minutes. Please excuse the grody Chucks, I remember I literally lived in those things for a month.

It's a Sunday night and I'm just reminiscing over the last couple of days and about what this following week will bring. The amount of junk food I ate over this weekend is unfathomable. Just thinking about it is making me nauseous again. Hope you had an exceptionally good weekend everybody, mine was a total blur because it went by so quickly. Sometimes you gotta go with it and live life in the fast lane.

Today I spent a lovely (windy) afternoon in Yeido looking at the cherry blossoms in bloom so I've decided to dedicate this post to everything pale pink. Spring is definitely here!!!

My new buddies who I adopted just yesterday. George eats his own poop and Fred likes to "play dead" (which terrifies the crap out of me!). Both of them are very demanding, they want food ALL the time. You can just tell =)

The only problem with attending a beauty class with 8 people in attendance is that I end up being the "so-called beauty model" because no one else seems to want to be the human guinea pig. No seriously but it was a great experience on the whole while I tried not to grimace in embarrassment when people looked at me and cried when the make-up stylist put on under-liner (so I have sensitive membranes) to attempt a sexy, smoky eye. I did appreciate and love the intimacy of the tutorial as you can see in the few snaps that I took above. I ended up buying an eye basics base in Flax, apparently this product will solve all my eye-shadow/eye liner smudging problems. Geez, I really hope so because my current eye make-up routine is presently nonexistent.

I've had a pretty rough time these past couple of days. Three people I know have passed away in the last two weeks. Give me a couple more days to get a grip on reality. How are you supposed to cope with all this sadness?
How do you let go?

To my close relative- you've left two beautiful children and a loving husband.
We all miss you so much.

RIP
