Dress Like A Celebrity- Kate Moss

What I adore about Kate Moss is her chic sense of style. When trying to achieve a look like Kate would wear, simplicity is key. Take this outfit she was wearing while strolling through London recently.

The truth is that most of us have these key pieces in our wardrobe...but do we wear them like Kate? Probably not. Here are some tips on how to make any outfit more stylish.

1) Add a pair of heels. Heels instantly dress up your look. Also, the added bonus of heels: they make you appear taller and slimmer. SCORE!
2) Tuck in your shirt and throw on a belt. Big and baggy is so 1990. When you tuck in your shirt you look more polished and it gives you a better silhouette.
3) Ditch the oversized hobo bag and grab a clutch. Some people think clutches are only for evenings...this is not the case. Clutches make you instantly fabulous!

Old Navy Brings Back Blossom

Typically I can't stand Old Navy's commercials, but this one was HILARIOUS! I always loved Blossom.

Now my only question is, where's Six???

Fascinating Fascinators

A few weeks ago my parents were in Dublin, Ireland. While on their vacation they stumbled upon a cute vintage store, The Harlequin, where they picked up two adorable fascinators for me. Just call me Kate Middleton...well, not really. But they are so fun to wear.

This black feathery one is very wearable and adds a little something special to any outfit. Don't you love it?

Okay, this one is a little more out there...but isn't it amazing??? Wearing it reminds me of women with crazy hats at the horse races for some reason. Now I think I will have to have a derby party this year.  :-)

What do you think of fascinators? Do you have any?

Oh hello there! Spring has just crept in and I've fallen HARD for that lace Dolce & Gabbana dress! And is that a TOMATO print?
INGENIOUS.
I'm so happy that it's getting warmer. Time to shed those layers...

Dang. Britt Maren is the hottest peroxide blonde ever. She almost makes me want to shave my locks and go all pixie.
On another note, how DIY-able is that black safety-pin tee? It totally looks like something one could do on a lazy Sunday afternoon...

I've caught this MASSIVE cold, it's driving me crazy right now trying to breathe. So I'm posting this absolutely fantastic outfit to lift my spirits up a bit. Jumpsuit + strappy heels + weaved clutch = divinity. I also love the sunnies, did you know that Bottega Veneta made shades too? I had no idea, fancy that. I hope you're having a better Friday night than I am!

Lookin' Fab

I have to be 100% honest with you, I have no interest in seeing The Hunger Games. I know, I'm probably the only person who could care less about this movie...just not my cup of tea. But know what has me excited? Elizabeth Banks and her wardrobe at the premieres.

wearing Elie Saab at Berlin premiere

Doesn't she look amazing? Which look is your favorite??? I can't pick a favorite...stunning is stunning.

Happy Birthday To Me...

Today isn't only the first day of spring...it's my birthday. I miss the days when I looked forward to turning another year older. Nowadays when I hear happy birthday I seem to do the old eye roll and say it's just another day.

I did have a nice weekend though. On Sunday we went to my parents' house and my brothers' family came over. My mom made this YUMMY lemon cake. Delicious!

This coming weekend my husband and I are flying down to Raleigh, NC to visit my friend who is my birthday twin. Happy birthday Kelleny!!! Here's to 31!

Fig Magazine: Blogger Corner

I was wandering around downtown Lancaster today so I made sure that I picked up the latest issue of Fig Magazine. Reason #1- because I love Fig!...and reason #2- because I'm actually in this issue! Well, don't get too excited...it's just a small blurb with a shout out to my Fig blogs and to Snapshot Fashion. But it made me smile.

If you don't live near Lancaster you can check out the ezine version here. You can also sign up for their quarterly magazine on their website (it's free!).

Sort of LOL-ing at my dodgy photo-shopping skills here. Please excuse. This is the sort of outfit I want to be wearing right now to the T...in thongs...and preferably lighting soy candles by the beach...Actually I just ordered the exact Wildfox tee above, can't wait to get into it for sure.

Lookin' Fab

If you read this blog there are two things you probably know about me...

1) I love the color pink. Even though I don't wear it that often...it's my "signature color".
2) I adore Michelle Williams and her chic style.

99% of the time I see a snapshot of Michelle I am aching for her wardrobe. This dress is no exception to the rule. I love the asymmetrical neckline on this frock. Simply beautiful.

What do you think of this dress? Do you love Michelle's style as much as I do?
