I'm really into the denim vest look nowadays. Sometimes it's a little too hot for full-on denim jackets so cut off the sleeves! It's a great casual look that looks understated over a tank top, a cropped shirt or a bikini.

All this gold bling is wonderfully distracting, kudos to stylist Joe Zee on that one. I definitely don't want to be wearing all of this at once but nobody can deny a single, chunky chain around one's neck or waist. THE perfect accessory!

I'm so used to seeing Barbara Palvin in (Chanel) beauty ads (she's certainly got the face!), I've forgotten how much of a stunner she is in editorials!

I think the first time I saw Angela Lindvall (in print) was a good ten years ago in a Covergirl ad. Even then she was biting into apples and rocking an awesome red lippie. She still is.

This weekend was definitely a movie weekend. I ended up watching Bridesmaids (hilarious!), Columbiana, Cowboys and aliens and The rise of the planet of the apes. I would recommend watching the first (for a laugh) and last (for a cry) aforementioned. Today marks the last day of my summer break and Monday means a new semester...

but in a different light. This is why I always try to go to the store to see clothes with my own eyes before I buy any online. I still like this particular Stefanel sweater though. I think my mind is already jump starting to Autumn, falling in love with chunky knits again MAJORLY.

Love this candy-themed beauty editorial featuring model Toni Garrn in colour combinations that I would not normally dream of walking out of the house in fear of being mistaken as a clown. However, I do have to say that nothing beats the good old grape or cranberry popsicle-induced purple/red lip stain. Pucker up!

I'm sorry that I haven't posted in four days but it's only because I'm currently smack-bang right in the middle of finals so venturing near a computer for me is basically academic suicide. Yeahhhh, I have no control like that when it comes to the internet...So I'll either see you here tomorrow or in a couple of days, I don't know. Meanwhile, drool over this editorial and those yellow jeans! :)
