I'm thinking of getting this Lisa Maree 'down the garden path one piece' in orange. It also comes in black and white...but the one thing I do worry about is, awkward tan lines much?
Crochet is so cute in the summertime~!!!

I'm really into the denim vest look nowadays. Sometimes it's a little too hot for full-on denim jackets so cut off the sleeves! It's a great casual look that looks understated over a tank top, a cropped shirt or a bikini.

I hope you're having a lovely week! It's only Tuesday and I'm feeling so tired already...falling asleep while drinking coffee
. Uh oh. Posting this lovely, loud editorial featuring gorgeous chunky bracelet cuffs and necklaces. It's what I want to wear this summer. J'adore!

All this gold bling is wonderfully distracting, kudos to stylist Joe Zee on that one. I definitely don't want to be wearing all of this at once but nobody can deny a single, chunky chain around one's neck or waist. THE perfect accessory!

Designer Mara Hoffman must be an avid anthropologist at heart because every collection she churns out the most wonderful swimwear inspired by different cultures. Past collections include Amazonian tribeswoman, Native American influences, South African tribal and 2012's resort collection explores Egyptian ruins and a mystical sarcophagus. My absolute favourite so far because I adore Egyptian and Greek mythology. Inspiration for the next collection: please go to Greece next!!!

a bikini summer

For me, Summer will always be about bikinis, BBQs and the beach. I was practically living in my Victoria's Secret one up until a couple of days ago.

If you suddenly feel like you need to stop eating that tub of ice cream you're eating out of and hit the gym well, FYI I need to come with :P

I have to admit my style is really quite strange. Having grown up in Oz and favouring French chic at the same time, depending on my mood I will wear simple, minimal Euro looks with my beach hair, tanned skin and tank-tops. Sort of like Isabel Marant Spring 2011. Frankly I just have a hard time putting it into words, LOL.

"Mara Hoffman was originally inspired by the Ndebele tribe from South Africa and Zimbabwe. The colorful, geometric paintings on the homes of the tribes influenced a new original print by Hoffman and served as a central point for the look and feel of this collection. The "Etching" print has an African mud-cloth feeling and and the colorful "Web" print has a Batik effect."

As of this moment I'm trying to overcome this monstrosity of a virus that I've managed to catch from one my classmates before I feel its full force by sleeping. all. the. time. Majorly wishing for warmer weather so I can wear that electric-blue bustier bikini set, the first is my fave!
