Kentucky Derby Party 2012

Last week while I was home on my lunch break I decided to call in to the radio station to answer a trivia question to win tickets to a Kentucky Derby Party at the National Watch & Clock Museum in Columbia, Pennsylvania. I didn't really know the answer...so I guessed. And I was right! Four tickets to a fun derby party were mine! This afternoon my husband and I got all dressed up and joined our friends Olivia and Jason for some derby fun!

Red Dresses For The Holidays

People that know me know that I can't stand country music. But, when it comes to fashion I often am looking to Taylor Swift for inspiration. I just love her wardrobe...especially her amazing cocktail dresses. Taylor was recently spotted wearing this adorable red strapless dress to a CMT bash. She kept her look very simple and didn't go overboard with accessories. She let the bold red in her dress (and lips) be the star of the party!

I love the idea of wearing a red frock for the holidays. It's actually something I do not have in my wardrobe. Can you believe that? I have so many little black dresses...I have to add in a little red dress to the mix. It's such a great look for Christmas or New Year's Eve parties, making you stand out in the crowd. Who doesn't love a little attention???

Wahhhh...I really wish I was at Coachella right now relaxing poolside with a mojito (my ultimate summer drink) or a vodka in hand. I adore pool parties- it's the closest I can get to an expanse of water in the middle of a city or in this case, a desert, where I can pretend I'm beach side! I spy Rumi! <3

It's A Fashion Party!

Since I moved I have been getting a local fashion party together so I can try to meet some local readers and fashionistas.
