outfit of the day: fuchsia pink

 

Okay, so here is a true outfit post finally! It seems like a gazillion years since I've posted anything proper guys. The lovely Serena snapped these while we did a little meet up in MyeongDong last weekend (thanks! xo). My wardrobe is going thru an awkward phase right now, I never seem to have the perfect Spring/Autumn pieces to transition and half my summer accessories are in boxes. Bag and shoes- don't match, don't care. LOL.

8seconds

Oh my, time has flown by. I cannot believe that it is the last day of February already. I figured I should stop by MyeongDong to check out the newly opened 8 SECONDS store before schoolwork starts to bury me again like it usually does. So, 8 SECONDS is another SPA brand that newly launched in Korea and is Korean owned & made. The price range is more expensive than F21 and H&M but less pricey than Zara (Seoul-lites will know that Zara is obscenely overpriced here). I wasn't particularly impressed with the quality of the clothes and consider me a little disappointed for now but we'll see, maybe they'll have better things put into the store next season. Anyhow, this is the view from outside:

This is the basement floor with a cute rainbow arrangement of shoes and an interesting print-your-own t-shirt counter.


Didn't hold my interest long enough so I popped over to H&M next door. Daria says Hi:

Then I crossed the street and made a pit stop at the Miu Miu store in LOTTE. Totally fawning over the cute clutches and wallets. I also saw the most gorgeous navy blue, suede stiletto pumps ever.


Miu Miu somehow makes me squeal like a girl. Hope you enjoyed my little day-trip!

Looking at these images of fresh berry biscuit cobbler has my stomach grumbling for more pastry delights. I am literally itching for an oven- if you know me and my love for baked goods then you know that I am in major PAIN because I'm oven-less. Today I went to Myeong-dong for a bit of Spring shopping and I went a little berserk in Zara, Forever 21 and H&M having been on a self-shopping ban for two months. I was looking for a cheaper version of the lace-up Isabel Marant shorts and managed to find more of a coral pink shade that was lace-less but definitely like 195 gazillion dollars cheaper. It'll do for now. Do you wanna see my other buys?

It's high time I showed the world my face. I've been blogging since 2007 and I've never really had the guts to post a mug shot. As to reasons, I've narrowed it down to camera issues but mostly because of....facial issues. Just kidding.
So finally a virtual wave from me to you! :)
These pictures were taken last March when Shini popped over during Seoul Fashion Week F/W 10/11. We meandered down the streets of MyeongDong and Shinchon on a sunny afternoon, taking sticker photos (sorry, we are sooooo Asian), scarfing down this particular waffle and getting to know each other. This was the first time I met a real-life blogger face-to-face and boy, was I EXCITED. (Shini has no idea). Anyways, I just have to mention that my hair looks really different now and that particular day I had to lug around a big FAT clutch because the strap of my handbag broke mid-shopping...
Hopefully I'll have more pictures of my outfits to share with you in the future. I think I'm ready to be intimate now.
