What They Should Be Wearing- Academy Awards
I don't know about you, but I am so excited for the Oscars tomorrow!!! Well, let me rephrase that...I'm sort of excited about the actual show (it's always SO LONG...) but the anticipation for the red carpet is killing me. I know there are sure to be some hits and misses when it comes to the gowns selected, so I thought I'd help the celebrities out with some fashion that I know would look fantastic on them. I'm excited to see if they pick my looks (haha!).
Emma Stone- Armani Prive Spring 2012 Couture
Michelle Williams- Elie Saab Fall 2011 Couture
Natalie Portman- Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2012
Penelope Cruz- Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2012
Angelina Jolie- Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2012
Cameron Diaz- Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 Couture
Octavia Spencer- Elie Saab Spring 2012 Couture
What do you hope your favorite actresses wear tomorrow? Can you tell that I'm hoping to see some color on that red carpet???

Best & Worst Dressed of the SAG Awards
Last evening was the SAG Awards. Were you watching? I have to admit, overall the looks on the red carpet were really fantastic. I thought that the majority of celebrities stepped it up from the Golden Globes a few weeks ago. At the Golden Globes it seemed as though everyone was either in nude or black...and at last night's SAG Awards a lot more color was worn which made me smile.
BEST DRESSED
Michelle Williams looked so lovely in red. Simple yet totally chic. She was my favorite of the evening.
Emily Blunt's dress was a show stopper. On TV it looked more lime in color than it does here in this photo. I love it either way.
Diane Lane was a dream in this blue one shoulder number. She kept her hair up in a simple ponytail. Supposedly it was rather warm in LA yesterday...so being comfortable was key!
WORST DRESSED
Amber Heard (who I'm still not sure who she is...but here she looks so much like Scarlett Johansson) looks like she ran into Edward Scissorhands on the way to the red carpet. I'm fine with cut-outs...but this was just too much. Can we say overkill?
Rose Byrne...where do I begin? Let me start out with a compliment: I love her hair! Now, on to the jumpsuit. When they were initially interviewing her they just showed the top portion of her outfit and I thought she looked really cute...and then they scrolled down. It's like she raided Elvis's closet.
I really hate it when bad fashion happens to good people. Kristen Wiig...what the heck are you wearing? The color and style of the dress aren't terrible. I do wish that the waist was higher and not dropped like this. It just makes her look dumpy. My biggest issue (what makes her my worst dressed of the night) is that she is wearing a halter and a big ugly choker. Kristen, take note: you do not wear a fat choker (or really any necklace like that) with a halter style dress. NEVER.
Who made your best and worst dressed lists of the SAG Awards? Do you agree with my list?

What They Should Be Wearing- SAG Awards
I love awards season! To me nothing is better than watching my favorite celebrities strut their stuff down the red carpet while wearing a fabulous gown. The other week I watched the Golden Globes and thought most of the celebs looked okay...but some of them just looked like they were playing it safe. I'm super excited to see what they will be wearing to the Oscars. But I'm getting ahead of myself. This Sunday is the SAG Awards and I'm spending my Friday evening thinking of what my favorite actresses will be wearing should be wearing.
What do you think of my picks? What do you hope your favorite actresses wear?
Don't forget to join the red carpet hangout going on via Google+ on Sunday.

Sofia Vergara's curves would look amazing in this Zac Posen gown.
I would love to see Kaley Cuoco in a bold color to keep her look young and fun. This Christian Dior dress would be fantastic on her.
This red Elie Saab gown would be perfection on Julie Bowen. I think it would look so great with her blonde hair.
The vintage feel to this Reem Acra would be so beautiful on Michelle Williams.
Emma Stone would look breathtaking in this Badgley Mischka gown.

Freezing on the Red Carpet
I was so surprised to hear that it's going to be a chilly evening tonight on the red carpet in Los Angeles. We're talking in the 40s people! My first thought was, what are the actresses going to be wearing to stay warm? Long sleeves, maybe? Or will they opt for a jacket or shawl of some sort? I personally know that if I were there I'd be wearing SOMETHING (anything) on my arms. I know that when my arms are cold it makes my entire body cold. I thought that these jackets would be totally wearable over a stunning Oscar gown and not distracting.
What do you think? What would you wear over a red carpet evening gown? Would you just wear long sleeves? Or would just suck it up, show your bare arms, and freeze for fashion?

Golden Globes Fashion Review
I have to say, there were a lot of amazing looks at last night's Golden Globe Awards. Of all the dresses in the world to wear I always find it crazy how many celebs end up wearing similar trends on the red carpet. This year seemed to be the year of nude hues, shades of green, and long sleeves. Here is my list of best and worst dressed of the evening.
Which looks were your favorite from last night? Which looks did you hate???
