Last night Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were given the top award of the evening at the Council of Fashion Designers of America. They were named Womenswear Designer of the Year. Their fashion label, The Row, has been praised for years...and now they are really showing that they can stand strong with others in the industry. I have to give the girls credit where credit is due. Here's to a job well done!
For all you Olsen fans out there did you notice that Mary-Kate debuted a brunette hairstyle at the awards. I have to say, I kind of love it on her. What are your thoughts? Should Ashley follow MK's steps and switch up her hair a little?
And a quick side note...at the CFDA Awards Johnny Depp (who was not in attendance) received the Fashion Icon Award. I love Johnny Depp (who doesn't???), but fashion icon? Seriously? His fashion sense is typically atrocious. Who do you think deserved the award of fashion icon?

Spring 2011--- Christian Siriano
During Fashion Week there is one designer that never lets me down---Christian Siriano. Lots of white, animal print, and ruffles upon ruffles. Christian is always taking things to the next level. All I have to say is well done Christian. Well done.

Spring 2011--- Max Azria
Neutral, feminine, simple, and flowing describe Max Azria's Spring 2011 collection. To me the majority of the pieces look like something that a Greek goddess (and myself) would wear. I'm not even a huge fan of pants but I really love his pants looks here. So pretty, so chic!
