I've just come back from a 2 night/3 day pre-graduation trip and being out in the countryside even for a couple of days makes you realize how privileged one is in terms of having access to basic amenities. There was a "beach" involved but it was mostly dirty sand and rubbish-on-the-shore which kind of broke my heart a little. It's good to be back home.
