sass & bide at London Fashion Week September 2011.
Newness.
Very different from the usual sass & bide girl that I am accustomed with. It makes me tilt my head and just think....I think I like all the neon and bright colours, it's growing on me for sure.

Dress Like A Celebrity
Ever since the "Royal Wedding" Pippa Middleton has been getting a lot of attention for her sense of style. I gotta admit, she always looks great! Usually dressed in a very casual chic wardrobe, Pippa's look is very classic and pulled together but with a hint of young and fun in there too. Being the sister of a princess she can't just walk around looking like she doesn't care about herself.
What I adore about Pippa's every day style is that it is so easy to replicate. Here is Snapshot Fashion's affordable version of an outfit she recently wore to her London office.
Would you wear this outfit? Who do you think is more fashionable...Pippa or Kate?

happy halloween 2011
Source: Russh/ Le Fashion
Have you been to any Halloween parties yet? I spent Thurs/Fri night getting merry so I've decided to stay in tonight. I didn't wear a costume this year but I did dress up a little more vampy than usual in a white blazer + black shirt + heels + blood red lippie combo. Literally saw this same outfit compilation on Le Fashion so I had to post. Click back to the site for more details.

Snapshot Fashion Loves StyleSays
The creator of StyleSays, Jess, is a design student in San Francisco who was inspiration to start this site when they moved to California and left many friends back home in the midwest. Being unable to shop together anymore lead to emailing links for stores back and forth to one another. There had to be something better than this...and thus StyleSays was born.
On StyleSays you can not only create wishlists but share them with friends, and receive sales alerts when prices drop on your favorite items. I have already spent quite some time on StyleSays...it's ADDICTING!!! For more information on StyleSays please click here to check out a quick video on the site. Trust me, you'll love it as much as I do! :-)

right now I'm feeling this
Source: Photos by Josh Olins for Vogue China Nov 2011
Midterm exams had me dreadfully busy this past two weeks but I'm finally done now and I'm back! I don't know whether it's the colder weather or because everything is literally gloomy as of late but I'm really into wearing all black nowadays. Mini chain bags, cigarette pants and a statement lippie seem even better accessories. I may just wander off to H&M this weekend in search for some leather pants...will let you know if I find anything I like.

My Boots Finally Arrived
I have been waiting for the boots I ordered to arrive for days now...and they finally showed up today. WOOHOO! I was in desperate need of new boots for some time now, so I ordered two very affordable pair.
First let me tell you about the black pair. These are the Gomax Primadonna boots that I purchased via Piperlime. They are so comfy...and the heel height is perfect. My only issue with them is how high they come up on my leg. I have only tried them on with a skirt...and they look a little awkward. If they were an inch or two taller or shorter they would be perfect. They come up high enough that they just cover my knee caps. Awkward, right??? But, I do think that they will look fantastic with a pair of jeans.
Now let me tell you about the more casual brown pair. These are the Candie's Tall Boots that I picked up at Kohl's. I LOVE THEM! I see myself wearing these a lot. I actually don't have any brown shoes...so I'm really excited about them.
Hooray for new boots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Halloween Costume Ideas
No matter if you loved the old television show or the more recent movies, The Addams Family is classic and always a great idea for Halloween costumes. I love it when people dress as Wednesday Addams. It's creepy and fun...and SO SIMPLE. Don't forget to wear your hair in braids and maybe carry a doll around that is missing a head.
