Tomorrow is April 1st and the weather here in the northeast is anything but spring-like. I'm hoping that one day soon warmer weather will be brought my way...until then, here's to daydreaming about spring.
This season everyone is talking about bright pops of color (particularly bright and bold pants). I will be the first one to admit, I do not own any colorful pants...but I do adore this trend. Colorful pants are a nice break from the typical blue jeans and I really think that it's a trend we should all try. Wearing bright pops of color like this just makes you happier, right? Hey, it puts a smile on my face. :-)
Here are some of my favorite colored pants for the season---
Oopsies, I feel a little guilty about neglecting the blog for a bit. I hope you guys enjoyed a pleasant week. I wish my life involved more of Christopher Kane's neon, lace dresses and those Salvatore Ferragamo crochet bikini briefs!
Over the last few weeks a number of things have been changing in my life that I can't control (and I really don't want to bore you with the details). With all of these unwanted changes going on, I decided that maybe now is a good time to make a change that I can have some control over. A change that is long overdue. A change on Snapshot Fashion.
Yes, the layout is going to remain the same...basically because I don't really know how to change it, and I kind of like it as is. What will be changing is the format/postings/content. I have a few different ideas of the direction I want to take Snapshot Fashion in...but nothing is set in stone. If any of my readers have suggestions, please leave a comment or email me and I'll take everything into consideration. Snapshot Fashion will still be a shopping/fashion blog...but hopefully these changes will make it more enjoyable to readers.
Get ready for the new and improved Snapshot Fashion within the coming days. And thank-you again for your readership and support!!!

Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's Pink Princess TM Fashion
Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's Pink Princess TM Fashion: Audrey Hepburn has always been associated with grace, style, and divine humanitarianism. To honor her, Paramount Pictures and Mattel Toys created the "Breakfast at Tiffany's" collection, featuring Hepburn as trés chic Holly Golightly. Hepburn's elegance and femininity was captured in each detail, from her large doe eyes to her immaculate sense of style. The 11.5-inch doll comes in a sleeveless, sequin-encrusted shift of satin-like fabric, with a matching swing overcoat. There is a pretty pink bow at her waist and she's simply dripping in doll-sized pearls. She sports a rhinestone tiara, which only Audrey could wear with a day outfit and not look overdone. White gloves, pink heels, nude pantyhose, and a pink clutch complete her ensemble. This collector's item comes with a display stand, a two-year warranty valid in the United States, and a Certificate of Authenticity approved by the Audrey Hepburn Estate.

Such a terrific colour combination. Just thought I'd show you a few of my buys from my trip to LA. Black bikini by Victoria's Secret and reworked, red Levi's high-waisters from Urban Outfitters.
I got a haircut the other day and never knew that cutting off a few inches would literally make my head feel much lighter. Just had to post this editorial because it's so fitting for Spring and totally uplifting. The colourful gowns are phenomenal, non?
Can you believe March is practically over? We have one last giveaway for our giveaway month. This week's giveaway is from Selfish Style. They will be giving one lucky winner the choice of any item from their site, as well as free shipping for it.
I just wanted to let all my readers know that there is going t be a huge 48 hour blowout sale on High Gloss Fashion where all sale items are only $15! The sale is going on until 11:59pm CST 3/26.
Recently the days have been going by in a blur. Week by week, day by day. Don't really feel like unnecessarily unloading all my personal problems on this blog but I seriously feel like I need to get a grip. I'm going out tonight with friends so hopefully it'll cheer me up a bit and I won't end up drowning away my sorrows with liquor. Happy Friday~
I have to admit my style is really quite strange. Having grown up in Oz and favouring French chic at the same time, depending on my mood I will wear simple, minimal Euro looks with my beach hair, tanned skin and tank-tops. Sort of like Isabel Marant Spring 2011. Frankly I just have a hard time putting it into words, LOL.
I know fashion week has ended and all is done and dusted but there are so many collections to recheck and reminisce over. Starting with Paris and my picks from the Isabel Marant Fall 2011 collection!
Honor Blackman as Pussy Galore: Goldfinger's personal pilot and leader of an all-female team of pilots known as the Flying Circus. The character's name follows in the tradition of other Bond girls names that are double entendres. Blackman was selected for the role of Pussy Galore because of her role in The Avengers.
Goldfinger (1964) is the third spy film in the James Bond series, and the third to star Sean Connery as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. It is based on the novel of the same name by Ian Fleming. The film stars Honor Blackman as Bond girl Pussy Galore and Gert Fröbe as the title character along with Shirley Eaton as famous Bond Girl Jill Masterson. The film was produced by Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman, and was the first of four Bond films directed by Guy Hamilton.
Pussy Galore Doll
The wait is over! Sideshow has finally made a "Bond Girl" 12 inch Doll. Honor Blackman stars as Pussy Galore in the hit Bond film Goldfinger.
First off, let me start out by saying that I am BEYOND happy that spring is here! Even thought I know it is suppose to be cold again this week (and maybe even snow?!?!), I'm looking forward to packing up my winter wardrobe and making room in my closet for my spring clothing.
A huge trend this season is lace. Don't worry, we're not talking Madonna circa 1985. Small details of lace...keeping looks delicate and feminine. I feel the key to wearing lace items are to keep it simple and not over do the lace. You do not want to wear lace head to toe...that look is not going to work on anyone. So please, save yourself the embarrassment.
Here are my favorite lace looks that I feel are super wearable on everyone.
