NYE Fashion- Casual vs. Dressy

I can hardly believe that tomorrow is New Year's Eve already! Am I the only one that thought that 2010 flew by? I swear, the older I get the faster each year passes.

No matter if you are planning on staying home tomorrow night (like I am), or if you are heading out to a fun cocktail party or even hitting up a nightclub...Snapshot Fashion has all your style needs covered.

Here I have put together two lists...casual and dressy. Dressing up is always fun...but if you are having a low key NYE there is no reason you still can't look cute while being very casual. So please stay away from the sweatpants and pajamas. There is no need for that!

I'm trying to unpack my crap all at the same time while battling this massive cold I've managed to catch pre-Christmas. I swear the amount of fluid coming out of my nose just amazes me. Sorry didn't want to gross you out there. All I want to do is curl up in my bed with a cup of hot chocolate, surrounded by a fort of blankets & pillows, watch the snowflakes falling outside and press play for Love Actually.

Winter Storm Fashion

I'll be the first to admit it...I HATE SNOW! I am rather thankful that I am no longer living in NYC since they are getting dumped on. Where I am at in Pennsylvania I have heard that we are getting anything from 3-10"...basically, they have no idea. It's been coming down pretty steady for a while now, and I have even seen a few cars spin out and one get into an accident right outside my window. Such a mess!

If you are dealing with snow, like many of us are, I put together a bunch of winter wardrobe essentials that will keep you warm and looking cute while you shovel.

I watched HP Part 1 today and I cried when Dobby the elf died. I was feeling pretty sentimental before the movie and after watching it I felt I was drowning in a mental waterfall. Hence the upload of these pictures though I could just be in need of a BIG FAT hug.

I will be going to Los Angeles for about 6 weeks starting in January. It's my first time going there and I was wondering if you guys could give me any shopping tips and recommend places to eat, see and things to do. From what I've heard LA is THE place for vintage shopping. I would absolutely love to meet any bloggers living in the area, shoot me an email if you feel like meeting up. I always love a cuppa.

Today's Christmas shopping bag was filled with books, lacy lingerie, MAC lipsticks and cupcakes, candy and baby rompers for people in my life. Shopping for other people is a little stressful but it is so much FUN! I also popped into Zara to check out some jeans (for myself???) and was wondering if I should opt for a high waist pair this time around. The problem is that any type of pant that rests above my belly button makes me look super frumpy. I wish I was really leggy like Hilary Rhoda and blogger Ida...
